QELNAVOR Glass — winter, postponed indefinitely

The Loubi is winter, postponed indefinitely: classic orangery proportions over a frost-free citrus regime, cornice and pilaster details from the pattern-book tradition, and glazing that turns January into a reading month.

Orangeries are optimism with a U-value, and ours measure it: thermally broken aluminium or laminated timber frames, insulated safety glass to Ug 1.0, condensation managed by design rather than towel, and ridge details that shed snow without theatrics. Automatic roof vents and shading run quietly; winter runs outside.

Questions, Answered

Is it warm enough in winter?
Insulated glass to Ug 1.0 and thermally broken frames hold a winter garden comfortably above frost, and heating options make it a January room. Growing houses state their own regimes honestly.

Does it attach to any house?
Winter gardens are surveyed first — wall build, damp course, foundations — then engineered to the house. The flashing details are ours; the house's dignity stays its own.
