QELNAVOR Classics — the garden's formal bow
The Nymans is the garden's formal bow: an octagonal timber gazebo with hand-laid shingles, carved railings and a finial that finishes the silhouette — engineered to Czech snow zones by the manufacturer.
Timber earns trust by the decade: heartwood-graded larch and cedar, shingles laid by hand over ventilated battens, pre-oiled surfaces that weather to silver or stay nut-brown by your choice, and stainless fixings throughout. Ten years from now the pavilion should need a fresh coat of oil and nothing else — that is the engineering brief.
Design & Craft
- Ornamental posts and railings carved, not glued on
- Benches and tables sized to the polygon as options
- Loads calculated to Eurocode EN 1991 for Czech snow and wind zones
- Roof finial included — the full stop of the silhouette
- Hand-laid shingle roofs over ventilated battens
- Needs a prepared foundation; assembly by your installer

Re-oil exposed timber every two to three years — one weekend, supplied oil — and clear roof gutters each autumn. Check fixings at year one, then forget them. Shingles and finials are available as spare parts; storms are repaired, not mourned.
Questions, Answered
Timber or aluminium?
Timber warms the eye and asks for oil every few years; aluminium disappears politely and asks for water. Both carry the same engineering; the choice is temperament, and we will advise honestly.
How long does installation take?
Foundations one day, structure one to three days by size — stated per listing. Assembly is the customer's responsibility; plan it with your installer.
