QELNAVOR Glass — winter, postponed indefinitely
The Veltrusy extends the house into the garden's weather: an attached winter garden with flashed, engineered junctions, room-grade heating and shading, and roofs pitched to shed snow past the gutters' patience.
Orangeries are optimism with a U-value, and ours measure it: thermally broken aluminium or laminated timber frames, insulated safety glass to Ug 1.0, condensation managed by design rather than towel, and ridge details that shed snow without theatrics. Automatic roof vents and shading run quietly; winter runs outside.

Care
Wash glass with water and a soft blade twice a year; clear gutters and check vent seals each autumn. Gaskets and glass units are stocked for fifteen years — condensation between panes is a warranty conversation, not a mystery.

Is it warm enough in winter?
